This work reflects the deep world of data interchange, where the most important things happen out of the reach of the human eye. My imagination dives into the idea of protocols and data that creates a parallel universe, allowing the spectator to witness an inaccessible world.
"Guillermo Arismendi is a Venezuelan-Spanish artist, stablished in Tenerife, Canary Islands. He has been painting for more than 30 years, developing his language to express a very personal view. Many influences has contributed to give his work a distinctive signature: Music, dance, oriental calligraphy, sci-fi, and many other elements freely blended in.
In the last few years, he started to produce digital paints alongside with his oil works. The possibility to create high resolution artworks in the digital environment, allowed him to assume a more experimental and risky approach. The result is a series of original paintings where the joy of improvisation and unexpected color palettes express all the artist’s personality.
